Judy Ann WalkJudy Ann Walk, age 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the family residence. Judy was the daughter of the late Nina Roberts Mayfield and Earl Madison Mayfield. Her brother, Terry Sharp and her step father, Grady Sharp also preceded her in death. Judy was an 1967 graduate of Plant City High School in Plant City, Florida. She was an 1971 graduate of Lee University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree and she received top honors. She received her Masters Degree in Library Science from Trevecca University. Judy had over 30 years of service as a teacher. She taught in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. She also served as Librarian in Hamilton County for awhile. She loved to read but most of all she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. Judy was a very active member of the Westmore Church of God where she served in the Choir, Enetha Circle and she attended the Thursday Bible Study.



Survivors include her husband, Ron Walk of Cleveland, her daughter, Suzanne Renee Mays also of Cleveland, her grandchildren, Dylan and Aizen Mays, her brother, Wendell Sharp and his wife Stacy of Pinecrest, Florida, her nephew, Dr. David Miolen and his wife Ann, her niece, Sonya Kuykendall and her husband Jerome all of Cleveland, her sister in law, Susan "Susie" Miolen and her husband Wayne, her mother in law, Grace Walk all of Cleveland, her 2 step sisters, her special friend, Carlene Moore and her husband Phillip of Plant City, Florida and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.



The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. from the Westmore Church of God with Pastor Kelvin Page and Dr. Ricky Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jim Bilbo, Ron Bean, Milton Riley, Larry Osborne, Vic Hiddleston and Bedford Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the service time at 2:00 Monday at the Westmore Church of God. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
