RALPH SMITH

Ralph Gregory Smith of Thousand Oaks, CA and former resident of Plant City, FL, died July 22, 1995, at the age of 46. Smith was a member of the U.S. Army Green Beret and was awarded two bronze stars in Vietnam. Smith was an active member of Promise Keepers and founded the California chapter of the Christian Business Men's Breakfast Club. He graduated from Plant City High School in 1967.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda of Long Beach, CA and Melissa of Thousand Oaks, CA; four brothers, Cal Jones, Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, Wayne Jones of Buford, GA, Lonnie C. of Rogers, AR, and Timothy F. of Jacksonville; three sisters, Wanda Hamilton of Fort Walton Beach, Patricia H. of Plant City, and Ione Williams of Maryland.

You and Cleve cornered me in a shopping mall in California, and I had the shock of my life as you shouted out my maiden name. You and Cleve and those attachable monkey puppets--so funny! You were always the practical joker, but a very good bud. Hope you and Cleve are having fun up in heaven in God's playground! Miss you, buddy.
