HomemakerBROOKSVILLE -- Mrs. Patricia H. Powell of Brooksville died of heart failure Friday (June 2, 2006) at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa. She was 59.Born Jan. 31, 1947, in Winter Haven, Mrs. Powell moved to Brooksville from Lithia 19 years ago. She was a homemaker. She attended Christian Fellowship Church, Brooksville.Mrs. Powell is survived by her daughter, Catherine Henry, Riverview; sons, James L. Powell, Springhill, Robert Powell, Riverview; father, Cleatys Scarborough, Meadowview, Va.; brothers, Daniel Lightfoot, Ocala, Clifton Lightfoot, Michael Lightfoot and Randal Scarborough, all of Fort Myers, Kevin Scarborough and Bobby Scarborough, both of Meadowview, Jerry Scarborough, Brooksville, Richard Scarborough, Glade Springs, Va.; sisters, Virginia Stinson and Teresa Thillery, both of Lakeland, Karon Lee and Barbara Scarborough, both of Meadowview; and one grandchild.Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Fellowship Church, Brooksville. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
