James "JD" Kirkland III, "Buck", 69, of Plant City, born on November 2, 1949 in Plant City, entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2019. He worked for CSX Railroad as a road master and retired after 33 years. He enjoyed fishing and participated in many fishing tournaments. He was a family man and his greatest joy was watching his son, Kyle, perform in competitions. He was a wonderful husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Kirkland; son, Kyle Patrick Kirkland (Kaley); sisters, Lynda Coffelt (Bob), Mary Lou Peebles (Jerry); sister-in-laws, Pat Kennedy and Shirley Ratcliff (Guy); niece, Stacy Dunn (Jeffrey); and many loving extended family and friends.
