Brenda Paulette Joyner Trammell, 74, of Bostwick passed away Sunday June 16, 2024 at Baptist South Hospital in Jacksonville, following an extended illness. A native of Plant City, Brenda had lived in Bostwick for the past 15 years, coming from Jacksonville. Brenda received her B.A. Degree from the University of Florida and then went on to teach in the Duval County Public School System for 33 years, retiring in 2008. She was an avid fan of the Florida Gators and loved to fish. She also loved animals and was especially proud of her Grand Champion steer she showed at the Florida State Fair. Brenda was of Baptist Faith and attended Bostwick Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Joyner and Pauline Frances Alderman Joyner.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles Frank Trammell, her brother, Richard Joyner (Yolanda), and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Services will be held Friday June 21, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Sharon Baptist Purity Church in Plant City with her brother, Pastor Richard Joyner officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church beginning at 1:00 P.M. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City.
