Rojer proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a mechanic on the Chinook helicopter during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he began a long and respected career with CSX railroad as a Machinist and Carman, starting on December 26, 1967. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, Rojer built lasting friendships with those he knew.
Beyond his work, Rojer found true joy in caring for his farm and cattle, attending agricultural fairs in Georgia, and traveling with his family. He had a natural warmth that drew people in, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a good story. His greatest happiness came from helping his family and friends—no matter the situation, he was the one everyone could count on.
He especially cherished time at his sec

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Smith; his sons, Craig Smith and Chad Smith; and his cherished grandchildren, Christian Smith and Aryn Smith. He is also remembered with love by his sisters, Angela Linears, Janet Holt, Darleen Stanley, and Yvonne Long, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
